The crew that has brought us Men’s Adventure Quarterly is now producing art books. The Art of Ron Lesser Vol. 2: Dangerous Dames and Cover Dolls is a brand new art book. Format is hardback, 129 pages, 8.5 x 11 inch dimensions.

Joe Jusko has a foreword on how he got into collecting paperback book covers including those of Ron Lesser. Daniel Zimmer writes the introduction with biographical information on Ron Lesser.

Lesser had two different periods of paperback covers. The first first were mostly crime and westerns. He also did Fu Manchu covers back in the 60s. He later had a period of covers for famous authors.

Ron Lesser had a career doing movie posters in the 70s and some comic book work. He later got into Civil War illustration after the mass-market paperback cover market collapsed in the late 1990s.
