One of the goals of Castalia House is to find and publish new authors, and so we are pleased to announce that Joshua M. Young has joined the illustrious ranks of the Castalia House authors. Mr. Young came to our attention by the means of a short story named “Domo” that he authored which is rather reminiscent of classic Asimov combined with the spiritual musings of Philip K. Dick. We contacted him and discovered that he was in the process of writing an intriguing SF mystery entitled Do Buddhas Dream of Enlightened Sheep. Upon reading his submission and finding it to be every bit as fascinating as the title suggested, we promptly offered to publish it as well as a future short story collection. We look forward to introducing the reading public to Mr. Young in 2015; in the meantime, if you are interested in his work, you can read “Domo” in Sci Phi Journal #1.
Intrigued by the title alone. Damn you Castalia. at this rate I will never be able to catch up!
I had just completed “Domo” and was left wishing for more. So this announcement is a delightful surprise.
Thank you kindly, sir! The novel I’m working on is very different, but hopefully you’ll enjoy it all the same.
