The Devil’s Hand is book #4 in Jack Carr’s “Terminal List” series. James Reese has been summoned by the new President of the United States to Camp David for a meeting. The President has a request. Twenty years earlier, his fiance was killed in the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center. There are scattered individuals who had a hand in the attack still floating around, some in the United States. The President was James Reese to kill them.
At the same time, an Iranian operative arrives in the United States with a bioweapon. He contacts a couple of sleeper agents involved with 9/11 to aid in spreading this bioweapon. Another plot line is a corrupt senator who wants Reese dealt with by a stand in for Blackwater stand in company.
Reese begins going down the list which gets him in the cross sites of the Iranian agent. The bioweapon is released in two cities with a good size body count. Meanwhile Reese is looking for the whereabouts of the Syrian sniper who killed his friend in the second novel.
As per usual, there are some great gun battles and hand to hand fights. The novel like the predecessors hold your interest to the end.
Jack Carr is of the opinion that Iran played a part in 9/11 and helped Al Qaeda. Carr was a U.S. Navy Seal and maybe he knows some things we don’t.
