The stories range across Lee’s career from beginning to almost the end. There are some obscurities included therein. I never knew Lee had any stories in Realms of Fantasy. That was a magazine I glanced at once in a while back in the 90s but never bought an issue. I have never seen a copy of Dragonfields for sale.
This anthology thematically works well as the stories are all the extreme end of the fantastic. If I had to make some sort of comparison, I would say Lord Dunsany though his style is breezier. Lee’s style has a more mythic quality lacking any tinsel. This book makes a nice companion on the shelf next to The Empress of Dreams.
You can order directly from DMR Books in either trade paperback format.
There’s a collection of her stories originally published in Realms of Fantasy titled Venus Burning: Realms: The Collected Short Stores from Realms of Fantasy. According to it’s Amazon page, there are 15 stories stories that all came from Realms.
